Princeton Tec, known for its American-made tactical and outdoor lighting products, has just unveiled a new addition to its lineup of high-end helmet-mounted lights, the new Charge X IR Max.
This American-made helmet light is the next upgrade to Princeton Tec’s original Charge series. As the latest model, the Charge X IR Max is one of the lowest-profile helmet lights on the market and is also a dual-fuel device that can be powered by either a CR123 or a single AA battery. It throws a 100-lumen, dimmable light in addition to white, red or IR LEDs and has a simple user interface. On the infrared side, this device has an 862 nm IR emitter that can deliver 420 mW of radiometric power to ensure clear visibility in the infrared spectrum. On a standard charge, this small helmet light has a runtime of 30 hours.
Externally the Princeton Tec Charge X IR has an IP68 dust and waterproof rating and can easily be mounted to Princeton Tec’s original Charge mounts, hook and loop surfaces, helmet rails, MOLLE/PALS webbing, EXFIL rails, ARC, M-Lok and other head straps for maximum versatility.
