JK Armament has partnered with Midwest Industries (MI) to offer two new AR-15 upper receiver options. These new uppers are available with either a 16-inch or an 11.5-inch barrel and come with a JK Armament HD War Eagle muzzle device pre-installed on the 1/2×28 muzzle threads.
The MI/JK upper is suppressor-ready out of the box and features an Midwest Industries Enhanced Bolt Carrier Group, a Radian Weapons SD charging handle and uses the proven and reliable DI (Direct Impingement) gas system. Chambered in .223 Wylde, each upper has a chrome lined Criterion Core Barrel with a 1:8 twist to use both .223 Rem. and 5.56 NATO ammunition with equal accuracy. The addition of an HD War Eagle mount on the front of the barrel means these uppers can use a G.O.A.T., SBRX or other JK 155 series suppressors with a QA mount.
